Entertainment this year: JABER, Shade, and Vera Takes the Cake.

JABR (6:30-8:00)- Performs an eclectic mix of originals (and a couple covers).

JABR is Janet Hailey (guitar and vocals), Rebecca Pitts (vocals), Al Sato (guitar and mandolin, and Ben Thornton (bass guitar).
Writers Janet and Rebecca love everything from jazz, blues, and folk/rock to celtic, gospel, bluegrass, and country. While their songs are based mostly in a folk/rock genre, their music reflects their diverse tastes. Their share stories of longing, love, and a many other iotions with their sweet blend of vocals. Singer-guitarist Janet writes powerful music from the heart. Her soulful voice ranges from gutsy lows to ethereal highs.
Singer Rebecca's skillful songs combine her love of folk, rock, and country. Rebecca is quite simply an exquisite singer. Her songs are both witty and haunting and are laced with irreverence.
Al is a master of acoustic guitar and mandolin (although he won't admit it). His subtle style fused with his love of jazz standards gives his playing beauty and depth. On bass guitar, Ben keeps it all moving in the right direction with his melodic, driving rhythm.

SHADE (8:30-10:00) - An eclectic rock band with funky rhythms. http://www.shadetheband.com

VERA TAKES THE CAKE (10:30-12:00) - A blend of rock, jazz, rhythm &
blues, soul, Latin & funk. http://www.gingerandsarah.com

Club de Ville is at the intersetion of 9th and Red River, so if you are at the Convention Center, head north to 9th street and look to your left.
