As a Creative Producer for Red Sky, I act in a client-facing role and
manage an internal team of graphic designers to make certain that all
of the client's requirements and expectations are met. Additionally,
as Chapter Leader for the Houston Webgrrls, I strive to build a strong
professional networking association for women in technology and new
media. With both a graphic design and business background, I am looking
forward to a highly challenging career in the Web industry.

A latish baby boomer, I was raised in suburban Houston, got a B.A. in German
from Boston U. and an M.A. in same from UT Austin, and studied in Germany
for two years. I also studied cello in college, and have played off and
on since then, most notably with a coffeehouse quartet in Seattle called
Quirktet (violin, cello, guitar, accordion). I attended the Denver Publishing
Institute and have worked as a proofreader and copy editor for much of my
career, for companies including Yale University Press, Microsoft, Seattle
Weekly, Corbis, Houston Press, and Wordmark Associates in Houston. I've
also enjoyed writing short stories, being an overnight DJ at a community
radio station, buying and selling on eBay, and maintaining a once-a-month
humor list called the humor clearinghouse. I now live near Lake Travis with
my husband and 5-year-old son, and edit on a freelance basis.
